Questions on questions
Do you answer specific questions on either the Mac or photography? Also do you want overview's of subscribers interests? My expectation is no, it would take you too much time. — Joseph M
I generally respond to courteous and concise emails I receive. Subscriber questions are given priority.
I am always interested in subscriber feedback. I take that feedback very seriously, and when questions are raised regularly, I generally address them in a new review or article. I cannot respond in detail to every email, but I read them all.
For computer setup, by far the most frequent request is help configuring a Mac Pro for optimal performance. For all my consulting clients, performance is addressed, but reliability and backup are also woven into the setup. My goal is to leave clients far more aware of the issues, and able to make their own informed choices. Most clients need between 60 minutes and 90 minutes of advice, "walking away" with considerably more confidence as to what to do, and a specific action plan and detailed equipment list.
For detailed help with selection of a camera system, lenses, etc, I offer consulting and/or 1:1 training. This can be a very good way to save yourself a lot of money and time eg not buying the wrong system for your needs.
